“This is a new program for us,” said Ted Todd. “Clients sometimes prefer that we come to their homes to work with them, even though our offices are usually close by. Getting a fuel-efficient Chevrolet Volt means we can drive throughout the day to and from our clients’ homes and work with them one-on-one for about a $1.50 in electricity—a big cost savings to the office and the environment.”
The plug-in, hybrid electric vehicle can run at least 35 miles gasoline-free on a charged battery, or switch seamlessly to a gas-powered generator that powers the electric motor for a greater range than other electric hybrids. “Customers are really impressed with the look, comfort, and quiet drive of the Volt,” said Charles Winton of Estero Bay Chevrolet. They also like the flexibility of the longer range of the Volt over other models.”
Celebrating 25 years, the Ted Todd Insurance Agency provides home, auto, business, commercial, retirement, and life insurance services to more than 30,000 customers statewide through its more than 40 licensed agents in seven regional offices located throughout Lee, Sarasota, Palm Beach, and Brevard Counties.
