Ted Todd Insurance Announces Support of Senate Bill #1860

Ted Todd Insurance Agency launches campaign to support Florida Senate Bill #1860 seeking insurance reform

Bonita Springs, FL – January 11, 2012 – Ted Todd, owner of Ted Todd Insurance Agency, is pleased to support the newly-introduced Florida Senate Bill #1860, which seeks to reform Motor Vehicle Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Insurance. Bill #1860, as outlined at http://www.FLSenate.gov, was introduced Tuesday, January 10, 2012. It seeks to provide a comprehensive reform of current PIP laws to reduce rising PIP fraud issues that have plagued Florida insurers over the last few years, raising insurance rates for all. To support the measure, Ted Todd Insurance has launched a webpage where others can voice their support for Bill #1860 to let their views be heard.

“Fraudulent PIP claims have caused customers’ car insurance rates to skyrocket throughout the state. It’s something that we, as individuals and insurance agents, would like to see resolved soon,” said Todd. “The more comprehensive the overhaul in the areas of fraud prevention, litigation reform, and provider accountability, the more we will all benefit. We encourage all Florida residents to learn more about Bill #1860 and support it.”
